Not someone to meet in a dark corridor

Vrenn, lurking in a corner and looking sinister.

Ilse in the Country

Ilse Marin in a Demish garden. Obscuring one of the willow trees that have been my obsession for the past week or so. The willow branch in the front is a photograph of a branch that hangs over the bike trail I take to work, colour-, bump- and transparency-mapped onto a vertical plane. I'm impressed by the fact that, even with the light behind it, it looks 3D.

Procrastination

This site has quarterly writing contests for women, along with book reviews. (Note, there's a $7 entry fee, payable only by PayPal.) www.awomanswrite.com

Lynda, I'll put this site on the list for a review of either Throne Price or the novellas. First I'll try to get some traffic stats to see if it's worth the price of a book and postage.

Virtual butt kicking

I need one. I've got 4400 words so far in Drops of Humanity. (which is not good, but at least it's a start.) If I had as many words in the story as I do notes on how to write the damn thing, I'd be finished.
I wonder what I'll get if I google for virtual butt kicking. I'll let you know if anything profound comes my way.
