Broad Universe Logo

Just updated the Broad Universe catalog with my 2005 publications. The BU is a neat organization of women who help each other promote their work to the world through cooperative efforts. I'm a member. Any female authors out there with a book in hand should check out the website.

Guide to the Okal Rel Universe on Windstorm site

The guide to the Okal Rel Universe is up on the Windstorm Creative web site! I had ten pre-pub copies -- well, had them -- with some low res picture glitches. They evaporated into the hands of friends and the faithful. :-) I'll have more soon, all corrected. And, of course, orders can be placed with Windstorm.

Screen Shot of Rap Lyrics for Lynda For my birthday back in Feb 2006, "Anonymous Okal Rel Fan" Garth F. contributed rap lyrics to celebrate a phase of my life that combined frenetic activity at the Centre for Teaching and Learning where I helped faculty work on web courses, with the first years of publishing the ORU. Took me long enough to get them up on the web in the Gallery of Graphics where other donations have appeared, but they are there now, dressed up with some pics to illustrate. Some of you will recognize your pictures.

When the good die young

Deep Magic, a high-quality e-zine, is on the rocks. Free to read, and recently started paying authors for their stories. They've seen a huge increase in submissions, of course, after that announcement, but haven't reached a feasible number of subscriptions to even keep producing the magazine. I've seen Deep Magic get more and more positive coverage, and would hate to see it die at this point. If anyone can help by subscribing, or a donation (what's five bucks?), we don't want to see the little guy go under!
