Comments
Well, I have Blogger comments working OK, but at the moment the only way to see them is to click on the date at the bottom of the message to bring up the post as an individual page. Then all the comments show. See Alison's post "Oh Ick" for a demonstration.
There must be a way to improve this, but this coming week I really have no time to look into it - but I will soon, I promise.

I've had a tinker with the format specifications in the template, and it seems to be working. Sort of. In places. But now I need to go back to women in counter-Reformation Seville.

Have a look at the way the "Tech Tips" comments work, at http://ctl.unbc.ca/tt/ David says he'll look at the nitty gritty and see if we can substitute for Reality Skimming.
Mind you, the way I got it working on Tech Tips leaves much to be desired, as well. I got a constant -- big COMMENTS -- into the clickable region, but what I really wanted was the comment count to show in the link text.
