Minor accomplishments
The sequel to The Lorel Experiment, my story Drops of Humanity, is coming along, finally. I'm up to 8300 words. I was hoping to reach 20,000, but I don't think the story is in need of that much goings on.

Write it the length it needs to be. You might find you need another 1,000 words or so in the next pass through, to flesh something out. Probably better to have space to work with, in case, than wondering what limb you have to cut off because it is too long. :-)
